Buck was the first homebred champion for Redfeathers. He placed fourth out of 50 entries in the 9-12 Month Puppy Dog class at the 1984 Irish Setter Club of America National Specialty in Denver, Colorado. Buck finished with back-to-back majors (5 points and 3 points) on the tough Louisville Centennial circuit. Buck was a sweet dog with a classic headpiece and loved to show.
