Bret is from one of the very last litters of Irish Setters bred by Ted Eldredge (Tirvelda Irish Setters).  Bret was whelped in 1982 and Ted Eldredge passed away in March of 1985.  Many of the Irish Setter kennels in the 1970's and 1980's got their start from Tirvelda Irish Setters.  Tirvelda is one of the most well-known names in Irish Setter history.

Bret was collected the summer of 1993 at the age of 11-1/2 years by the infamous Dr. Hutchison of the Animal Clinic Northview in North Ridgeville, Ohio.  I am extremely honored that Pat allowed me to use the last straw of his frozen semen.
